Witnesses said the man walked back to his garage to get a machete and came back towards the woman saying “I know you’re afraid of me.” Other neighbors said Coyle came at the woman saying “I see you.” Neighbor Robert Diamond watched the incident. “He was very erratic. My camera did catch him running up and down the street,” Diamond said. “Skipping, stopped in front of my house, did a couple of push ups. He was very erratic about the whole thing.”The woman said she had just moved into Capri Court. Coyle was arrested and taken to the Naples Jail Center. He is currently in custody with the Collier County Sheriff’s Office. MARCO ISLAND, Fla. – A Collier County man was arrested Sunday for attacking his neighbor and threatening her with a machete. Ronald Coyle Jr, 35, was arrested around 9 a.m. after witnesses said he was slamming a woman’s head into the concrete ground and grabbed a machete from his garage, according to the Collier County Sheriff’s Office. When deputies found Coyle at Capri Court in Marco Island they say he was disoriented, agitated, excited, and fatigued saying he was responding to questions with unrelated responses. The woman who was attacked told deputies Coyle was acting crazy and had been taking drugs all night before he attacked her.
