The Department of Psychology at Butler University invitesapplications for a one-year non-tenure track Instructor positionbeginning August, 2021. We seek a colleague who is committed toexemplary teaching and collaborative research with undergraduatestudents and who will be able to support the building of inclusivelearning environments for an increasingly diverse studentpopulationThe successful applicant will be able to teach sections of SocialPsychology, Research Methods and Statistics I and PsychologicalInquiry (our introductory psychology course). Ability to teachHuman Sexuality, Industrial-Organizational Psychology orBiopsychology will further distinguish applicants. Standardteaching load is 4 classes per semester, but 1 class per year maybe reassigned if the applicant involves our students in highquality independent research. Position requires a Ph.D. inpsychology at time of appointment, although qualified ABDindividuals will be considered.
