Two people were apparently found dead west of Geuda Springs.Sumner Newscow report — Sumner County Sheriff officers are currently looking into an incident in which two people appeared to have died on a country field road about 100 yards west of the Hillside and 130th St. intersection in southeast rural Sumner County.The incident is west of Geuda Springs, southeast of Wellington and northeast of South Haven, east of the Kansas Turnpike.According to Eugene Lattimer of Hunnewell, he said he was driving a pesticide spray rig in the area and was driving westbound on the road when he saw a white car obstructing the roadway at 3 p.m. today. As he drove up to the car he noticed two people lying behind the car face down. Lattimer said he suspected foul play and drove around in the field and got adjacent to the victims and honked his horn The victims did not move. He said called 911 and left. There is no other information available at this time.
